Hey Ana-
This is nice and really hinges on the colour (which is OK if it's a colour piece).
You have a very quiet style that draws upon the body gesture and small details. I quite enjoy it (I think I have a similar style). I think it means you have to get those things just right to "sell" the drawing. Sometimes you might have to slightly heighten the key theme... in this case "preciousness" or "sacredness". In this case I think the colour sells it nicely, but if it was in black and white may require an extra push.
yeah i agree, its really challenging for me to try and make a piece work without color. but at the same time i think my work is better when i limit my palate.
